Make a positive impact in educational settings by bringing your expertise as an Audiologist to serve students in the Harrison, TN area. In this contract role, youll collaborate closely with educators and student support teams to assess, diagnose, and manage auditory disorders, ensuring every child achieves their full learning potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology (AuD or MA/MS)
- Current, valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist
- Previous experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive audiological assessments, including hearing screenings and evaluations
- Strong communication skills to effectively partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Capacity to maintain accurate documentation while managing multiple caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic audiological assessments for students as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Interpret evaluation data and develop individualized recommendations for educational accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support students with hearing needs
- Facilitate fitting, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hearing assistive technology
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide training or consultation to school teams and families
- Monitor and follow up with students auditory progress and update intervention plans as needed
