Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure as an Audiologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly desired
  • Comprehensive understanding of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology techniques
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfortable providing in-services and training to school personnel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive assessments for students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related professionals to develop individualized education plans
  • Provide direct and consultative audiology services to meet educational goals
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation for evaluations, interventions, and progress
  • Recommend and facilitate proper use and care of hearing aids, FM systems, and assistive listening devices
  • Offer guidance on classroom acoustics and accessible learning strategies
  • Stay current on best practices and regulatory requirements in educational audiology
