A contract position is available for an experienced Audiologist to provide specialized services within a school setting located in Eugene, OR. This role involves supporting students with hearing and auditory processing challenges, ensuring they receive the necessary assessments, interventions, and accommodations to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and screenings for students.
- Develop and implement individualized auditory management plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide counseling and support to students and families regarding hearing health.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology.
- State licensure and certification appropriate for school-based audiology services.
- Experience working within educational environments.
