Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Audiologist (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable managing caseloads, conducting screenings, and implementing interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for students from preschool through high school
- Develop individualized recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive technology
- Collaborate closely with educational teams, related service providers, and families to support student needs
- Provide staff training and guidance around hearing loss and auditory supports
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and timely documentation
- Support IEP processes by contributing expertise to eligibility, planning, and annual reviews
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain hearing aids and FM/DM systems
