Step into a rewarding position working as an Audiologist within a supportive school environment. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity beginning in early August and continuing through late May, offering the chance to make a significant impact over the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an Audiologist
- Experience working in educational or pediatric settings is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families
- Ability to carry out hearing evaluations, interpret results, and recommend assistive technologies or interventions
- Passion for fostering inclusive, accessible learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing screenings and diagnostic assessments for students
- Advise staff, students, and caregivers on hearing health, hearing aids, or assistive devices
- Develop and implement individualized hearing intervention plans in partnership with educational teams
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with relevant regulations
- Serve as a resource for ongoing training and support regarding auditory and communication needs in the school setting
