Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice as an Audiologist.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-A) preferred.
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school-based environments.
  • Strong skills in administering hearing assessments and interpreting audiological data.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing screenings and audiological evaluations for students.
  • Interpret test results and provide recommendations to families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Develop and implement individualized services and treatment plans tailored to students needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing audiological guidance and support.
  • Consult with teachers and school staff to accommodate students with hearing impairments in classroom settings.
  • Oversee hearing device fitting, troubleshooting, and maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
