Desired Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Audiology
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) through ASHA preferred
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric audiology ideal
- Solid knowledge of hearing disorders, FM systems, and assistive listening devices
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing assessments and evaluations for students of all ages
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Recommend and fit amplification devices as needed
- Provide in-service training to school personnel on hearing health and assistive technology
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Offer guidance and counseling to students, families, and staff on hearing loss and intervention strategies
