Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible Minnesota Audiologist licensure
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred
  • Expertise in collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel between multiple school district locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing screenings and diagnostic assessments for students, interpreting results for educational planning
  • Recommend and implement hearing aids, FM systems, and other amplification devices as appropriate
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to foster inclusive learning environments and auditory access
  • Provide direct support to students, including troubleshooting and maintaining hearing technology
  • Develop and manage Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and documentation for eligible students
  • Deliver staff and parent training in hearing loss management strategies
  • Maintain accurate, timely records according to state and federal guidelines
