Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an Audiologist in schools
• American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification preferred
• Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop relationships with students, staff, and families
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and recommending assistive technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate students referred for hearing concerns or at risk for auditory disorders
• Interpret assessment results and create individualized recommendations for classroom accommodations and intervention
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to support student success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Recommend and manage assistive listening devices and hearing aids
• Educate staff, students, and families about hearing conservation and auditory health
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
