Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an Audiologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations highly valuable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and screenings for students
  • Manage and interpret audiometric data to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, special educators, and families to support students auditory needs
  • Oversee hearing aid fitting, troubleshooting, and maintenance for students
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in IEP development
  • Provide training and resources to staff and family to promote best practices for auditory health
  • Maintain accurate records in alignment with district and state requirements
