Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an Audiologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations highly valuable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and screenings for students
- Manage and interpret audiometric data to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, special educators, and families to support students auditory needs
- Oversee hearing aid fitting, troubleshooting, and maintenance for students
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in IEP development
- Provide training and resources to staff and family to promote best practices for auditory health
- Maintain accurate records in alignment with district and state requirements
