Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in educational settings as a School Audiologist in a contract role based near Burleson, TX. In this position, you'll support students' auditory needs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure every child receives optimal access to learning through expert audiological care.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Audiologist
  • Previous experience working in school or pediatric environments preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Familiarity with hearing aid fitting, cochlear implants, and related assistive technology
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized audiology care plans
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and partner effectively with educators, parents, and support personnel
  • Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive listening devices
  • Conduct hearing screenings and manage follow-up procedures
  • Educate school staff, students, and families on hearing health and preventive strategies
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
