Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an Audiologist
- Recent experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Proficiency in performing hearing assessments, fitting assistive devices, and providing a variety of audiological services
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for students of varying ages
- Recommend and fit hearing aids or assistive listening devices, and monitor their effectiveness in classroom settings
- Consult with teachers and staff to address student needs and ensure accessibility
- Provide guidance and education to staff and families on hearing health and device care
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with educational and clinical standards
- Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams as needed
