Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an Audiologist
  • Recent experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Proficiency in performing hearing assessments, fitting assistive devices, and providing a variety of audiological services
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for students of varying ages
  • Recommend and fit hearing aids or assistive listening devices, and monitor their effectiveness in classroom settings
  • Consult with teachers and staff to address student needs and ensure accessibility
  • Provide guidance and education to staff and families on hearing health and device care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with educational and clinical standards
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams as needed
