Job Description

What Youll Bring:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Audiologist
  • Prior experience working with children in educational or pediatric settings is preferred
  • Knowledge of a range of hearing assessment tools and pediatric amplification devices
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently and with attention to detail

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and screenings for students, identifying and diagnosing hearing loss and related disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans for students with hearing impairments, in accordance with IEP/504 processes
  • Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids, FM systems, and other assistive listening devices
  • Educate staff, students, and families about hearing health, hearing loss, and intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students needs are fully supported within the classroom environment
  • Maintain detailed, timely records and complete required paperwork for student files and compliance
