Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Audiologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive hearing assessments and screenings for students
- Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive technology
- Develop and implement individual audiology management plans
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents regarding hearing needs and intervention strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as an audiology expert
- Track and document student progress, assessment results, and services provided
- Train school personnel in the use and care of hearing assistive devices
