Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure as an Audiologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) strongly preferred
  • Prior experience providing audiology services in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
  • Familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Programs) and 504 Plan processes
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with a collaborative mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and screenings for students
  • Interpret and communicate assessment results to educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
  • Manage fitting, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hearing aids and assistive listening devices
  • Offer in-service training and consultation to school staff regarding auditory needs and classroom accommodations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain detailed documentation, complying with district, state, and federal guidelines
