Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Audiology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred
- Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and provide intervention strategies
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings, assessments, and full evaluations for students as needed
- Interpret audiological test results and develop recommendations for educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and special education staff to support individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and training to faculty and families on hearing loss, amplification devices, and classroom accommodations
- Coordinate fitting, management, and maintenance of assistive listening devices and hearing aids for students
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage in case management and follow-up to monitor student progress and address evolving needs
