With a focus on Adaptive Physical Education (APE), this contract opportunity allows you to work onsite with a diverse caseload of TK8th-grade students. Desired Qualifications:

• Valid California Adaptive Physical Education Teacher licensure
• Proven experience working with children in a K8 school environment
• Knowledge of adaptive PE curriculum development and implementation
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, families, and administrators
• Passion for fostering inclusion, positive attitudes, and student growth in physical education

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized adaptive physical education programs for students with diverse abilities
• Assess students skill levels and needs, adapting lessons and activities accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Deliver engaging instruction and activities that encourage participation, self-confidence, and skill development
• Attend meetings and contribute expertise as part of the educational team
