In this onsite, contract role, you'll work 15-30 hours per week, collaborating with educational staff to design and deliver specialized physical education programs that foster inclusion and development for students with varying abilities.

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Adapted Physical Education or a related field
- Current state teaching credential with APE endorsement
- Experience developing, adapting, and delivering physical education curriculum for diverse learners
- Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and organization
- Dedication to supporting students physical, social, and emotional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement adapted physical education curriculum tailored to individual student needs across K-12
- Conduct assessments to determine student eligibility and progress
- Work closely with IEP teams to develop, monitor, and report on individualized goals
- Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student growth
- Maintain detailed records and comply with district and state standards
