Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of adaptive PE techniques, assessment tools, and individualized program planning
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized physical education programs that accommodate students abilities and needs
- Assess students motor skills and progress using appropriate evaluation tools
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate adaptive strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation on student performance and program effectiveness
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Promote physical health, teamwork, and self-confidence among students
