Key Qualifications:

• Certification in Adaptive Physical Education or related field
• Athletic Trainer background with experience in injury prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation
• Ability to assess and tailor physical activities for students with diverse needs
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, coaches, and families
• Expertise in managing sports injuries and emergency care in a school setting

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver adaptive physical education lessons that engage and motivate all students
• Prevent, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries for student-athletes
• Work closely with coaching staff during peak football and basketball periods to ensure proper care and safety
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and incident management
• Provide guidance on safe physical activity, conditioning, and healthy habits
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for students of varying abilities
