Job Description
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled ABA Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support a 5th-grade student in an elementary school setting. The role is part-time, providing approximately 10 hours per week on-site in Troy, NY. Working within a collaborative educational environment, the therapist will implement behavior intervention strategies to promote positive outcomes and assist with individualized student goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy focused on enhancing learning and social behaviors.
- Utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to the needs of the 5th-grade student.
- Collaborating with educational staff and families to ensure consistent support.
- Collecting and analyzing data to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
- Maintaining professional documentation and adhering to ethical guidelines of ABA practice.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid New York ABA certification, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.
