Key Skills & Experience
- Experience in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), as a Paraprofessional, or ABA Therapist
- Comfortable working with students in both severe/resource classrooms and mild-moderate general classrooms at all educational levels
- Willingness to assist with health aide responsibilities (including personal care such as diapering/toileting) for students with cognitive impairments
- Flexibility regarding caseload type and assignment location within the district is essential
- Must meet one of the following educational requirements:
At least 60 semester hours of college credit (official transcript),
Associate degree or higher,
ETS Parapro Assessment score of 460 or above,
SAT score: Minimum 480 (evidence-based reading/writing) & 530 (math) - Must provide proof of qualifications prior to presenting to the district
- Will participate in virtual interviews
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent, individualized support as a paraprofessional using ABA strategies
- Support students academic, behavioral, and daily living needs as part of the school team
- Foster a positive and safe classroom environment
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
- Uphold student dignity and promote independence
