Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team for the upcoming school year. This contracted position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students in the Golden, CO area. The School Social Worker may be placed at either an elementary, middle, or high school, depending on the candidate's qualifications and preferences.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to help students develop coping strategies and improve social skills.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community agencies to develop and implement interventions and support plans.
Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students in need of additional services.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community resources to support students' academic and social success.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
Valid Colorado School Social Worker license or ability to obtain.
Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school or similar setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Commitment to advocating for the well-being and success of all students.
