Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join a public school district in Rockford, IL, for the upcoming school year. Make a difference in the lives of students by providing vital support services.

School Social Worker Job Responsibilities:

Conduct social and emotional assessments to identify students' needs.
Provide individual and group counseling to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention plans.
Advocate for students' needs and access to resources.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.

What You Need To Be Considered:

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement.
Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
