Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: Zion, IL
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Zion, IL. As a District-Wide School Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students across our district. Your expertise in assessment, intervention, and collaboration will contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, social-emotional functioning, and academic skills.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention plans and strategies for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
Offer crisis intervention and support to students and families during challenging situations.
Support teachers in implementing evidence-based strategies and interventions to enhance classroom management, positive behavior support, and academic success.
Provide consultation and professional development to teachers, administrators, and parents on topics related to student mental health, learning disabilities, and behavior management.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and other relevant meetings to contribute to the development and review of students' educational plans.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois (MUST HAVE PEL).
Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or district setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques used in school psychology.
