Job Description

Title: 1:1 School Nurse

Location: Waukegan, IL

We are currently seeking a one on one Registered Nurse to work with a student in the Waukegan, IL area. This position is perfect for RNs looking for a full time opportunity that offers a meaningful and rewarding experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Write and monitor health care plans
See students at school who feel sick during the school day
Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as needed
Monitor and document the student's medical condition and report any changes to the physician and parents/guardians
Train school staff on the student's care plan, as needed
Work collaboratively with the school team and parents/guardians to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for the student

Qualifications:

Current RN license in the state of Arizona
Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
CPR and First Aid certified
Must Eligible to work in the U.S.

Details:

Full Time - 35 hours/week
End of 2023/2024 school year AND full 2024/2025 school year
working 1:1 with medical fragile students
Benefit and 401 available
