Position Overview:

Location: Hayward, California
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week), 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Student Grade Levels: K-8
Disabilities: Mild to moderate disabilities
Service Delivery Model: Inclusion (push-in and pull-out services)
Caseload: 9 students

Qualifications:

Required: California Special Education Teaching Credential
Previous experience in a school setting is essential
Strong understanding of mild to moderate disabilities and inclusive education practices
Ability to effectively implement push-in and pull-out service delivery models
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
Provide direct instruction and support to students in both inclusive and specialized settings
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success
Conduct ongoing assessments and progress monitoring to inform instructional decisions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
