Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a full-time float position to work with K-12 students across multiple schools in the Chula Vista, CA area for the 24-25 school year! Part-time applicants are also encouraged to apply. This role requires traveling between schools, with mileage reimbursement provided for travel expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students.
Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to support students' academic and personal growth.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the clinical support team to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
Provide training and resources to staff and parents to promote consistent student support.

Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of California.
Preferably with previous school-based experience.
Proficient understanding of the needs of K-12 students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
