This opportunity offers an engaging environment for a skilled Respiratory Therapist passionate about pediatric care. As a key contributor, you'll deliver specialized respiratory therapy services while working alongside a team of dedicated professionals.
Schedule:
- Night shift: 18:3007:00
- Rotated weekends
- 13-week contract
- Immediate start
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with a focus on pediatrics (PEDs Respiratory Therapist)
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to neonatal and pediatric patients in a clinical setting
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders, following evidence-based guidelines
- Administer therapeutic procedures, including ventilation management, airway care, and emergency interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to develop and adjust patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about respiratory care best practices and home management when appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
