Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexibility to be on-call during days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric respiratory therapy experience
  • Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, BLS (AHA)
  • Ability to function independently and mentor fellow staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care including airway and mechanical ventilator management, oxygen and aerosol therapies, and bedside pulmonary function testing
  • Provide specialized airway management, including tracheostomy care, intubations, and extubations
  • Perform advanced procedures as needed, such as ABGs, blood glucose monitoring, and IV insertions under protocol
  • Manage ventilator setups, patient monitoring, and implement appropriate weaning techniques
  • Serve as a clinical resource, supporting both staff and patient care initiatives
  • Participate in neonatal and pediatric transport as designated by protocol
  • Operate within ECMO protocols to support patients requiring extracorporeal cardiac or respiratory intervention

$1,853 - $2,028/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
