Advance your career in pediatric respiratory care in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about providing exceptional care to pediatric patients and interested in supporting a dedicated clinical team.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• Active credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are both required
• Demonstrated competency and recent experience in pediatric respiratory care settings
• Strong communication skills and comfort working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment and support a variety of patients and care needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based respiratory therapy to pediatric inpatients and outpatients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer aerosol therapies, perform ventilator management, and monitor patient responses and vital signs
• Participate in emergency response situations, including code blues, and provide respiratory interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and the use of equipment as needed
• Accurately document all treatments, observations, and pertinent information in the medical record
