Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
- Rotated weekends required
- 13-week assignment
- Start ASAP
Qualifications:
- Active license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Proven experience providing respiratory care in a pediatric setting
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and life support care to pediatric patients as directed by physicians and hospital protocols
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor responses to therapy, and adjust care plans accordingly
- Operate a variety of respiratory care equipment and conduct diagnostic procedures
- Provide critical respiratory support for neonatal and pediatric emergencies
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care procedures
- Ensure accurate charting and compliance with all regulatory and facility standards
