Schedule/Hours:

  • May require on-call availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials
  • Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric RRT experience
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS (AHA) certifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver airway management, mechanical ventilator oversight, oxygen and aerosol therapies
  • Perform advanced respiratory procedures: aspiration, tracheostomy care, intubations, extubations, and advanced pulmonary function testing
  • Support pediatric and neonatal transports in accordance with specialized air care protocols
  • Manage ECMO and provide extracorporeal support for patients when required
  • Set up, monitor, and wean patients from specialized ventilator modes
  • Serve as a clinical resource, mentoring peers and ensuring the highest quality care
  • Stay current with best practices and function independently with minimal supervision

$1,853 - $2,028/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
