As a Respiratory Therapist, you will expand your expertise by collaborating with diverse clinical teams and gaining exposure to a variety of advanced respiratory practices. Schedule/Hours:

  • May include on-call shifts during days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of recent pediatric experience
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS from AHA
  • Proficiency in airway management, mechanical ventilator management, and complex respiratory procedures
  • Ability to function independently and provide mentorship to team members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced respiratory care, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments to stabilize or remedy dysfunction
  • Administer standard therapies: medication delivery, bedside pulmonary function tests, arterial punctures, aspiration of airways, tracheostomy care, intubations/extubations
  • Support pediatric and neonatal patient transport as needed, applying Air Care protocols
  • Execute advanced procedures such as UAC, UVC, IV/cardiovascular insertions, chest tube and needle decompression, ABG, and blood glucose monitoring
  • Manage ECMO circuits for cardiac/respiratory support as needed
  • Maintain current knowledge and serve as a clinical resource

$1,853 - $2,028/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
