Job Description
Provide expert respiratory care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist supporting patient needs on a day-shift schedule in a healthcare setting located in Brookfield, WI. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic environment from February 16, 2026, through May 21, 2026.
Schedule:
- Day shift: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM
- Three shifts per week
- Every other weekend coverage
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients following established protocols.
- Execute respiratory assessments, therapies, and treatments tailored to patient conditions.
- Monitor ventilator settings and patient responses, making necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient respiratory care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all respiratory interventions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential with a valid Wisconsin state license.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills essential for fast-paced healthcare environments.
