Looking for an experienced professional to provide specialized care as a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist within a dynamic healthcare setting. This role is essential in delivering quality respiratory care for pediatric patients and requires an individual who brings both expertise and compassion to the team.
This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a start date as soon as possible. The position consists of night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, including rotated weekends to ensure comprehensive coverage for patient needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Demonstrated experience as a Respiratory Therapist with focus in pediatric care
- Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Proven ability to provide acute and routine respiratory therapy in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to adhering to all facility protocols and safety standards
Schedule:
- Night shifts, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
- Rotated weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective respiratory therapy to pediatric patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate, plan, and implement respiratory care treatments
- Respond promptly to emergency situations requiring respiratory interventions
- Document patient response and update care plans as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and professional standards
