Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) 13 Week Contract
Location: Syracuse, NY

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced acute care environment with a highly collaborative team.
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) (confirm if this should be PM instead of AM current listing says AM)
- Schedule: Every other weekend required, including holidays (based on weekend rotation)
- Note: Facility cannot accommodate block scheduling or set schedules
Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy
- Active New York State Respiratory Therapist license/registration
- Minimum 2 years of acute care clinical experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment health clearance
- Candidates must reside 100+ miles from the facility
Preferred:
- Pediatric experience
Responsibilities:
- Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapies
- Initiate and monitor oxygen therapy
- Assist physicians with ventilator management and continuous ventilation
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Conduct pulmonary function testing
- Perform radial arterial punctures
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care with minimal supervision in an acute care setting
