Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Demonstrated NICU experience is required
- Current state licensure or eligibility
- Strong clinical skills in diagnostic and functional testing
- Experience with phlebotomy, IV initiation/removal preferred
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Conduct diagnostic and function tests
- Monitor patient progress, making timely modifications to care plans
- Execute phlebotomies, start and remove IVs as needed
- Provide education for patients and families regarding treatments and equipment use
- Document care and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams
