Expand your clinical resume through hands-on experience with ICU, PCU, Emergency Department, and floor therapy patients. Encounter unique approaches to complex cases and enhance your clinical insight while taking advantage of the areas arts, dining, and outdoor recreation during your off-hours.
Schedule:
- Night shifts, 12 hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No block scheduling
- Holidays as needed
Qualifications:
- NBRC credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Active NY license
- ACLS & BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (US work history required for non-US candidates)
- Experience in adult ICU, PCU, ED, and floor therapy strongly preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from Webster, NY
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy across adult acute care units (ICU, PCU, ED, general floors)
- Assess, plan, and provide treatment for a range of cardiopulmonary conditions
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary medical teams, following evidence-based protocols
- Perform patient education and deliver high quality bedside care
