What You Will Do:
- Deliver quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, ranging from neonates to adults, including those in intensive care settings.
- Perform respiratory assessments, administer therapeutic procedures, and manage ventilatory support as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate sophisticated respiratory equipment and monitor patient diagnostics, making timely interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and equipment use to promote better health management and recovery.
- Work closely with nursing staff, physicians, and allied health professionals as an integral part of a collaborative care team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Experience in both adult and neonatal intensive care units preferred.
- Proficiency in performing ABG analysis, ventilator management, and delivering therapies to high-acuity patients.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Schedule:
- Flexible shift availability may be required, including potential nights, weekends, or holidays, based on patient needs.
