Schedule/Hours:

Required Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Active credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and NRP preferred
- Previous acute care experience, particularly in trauma or critical care settings, is highly valued
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to providing safe, patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory therapy services to patients across all units, including critical care and neonatal intensive care
- Evaluate and monitor patient responses to therapy, making necessary adjustments in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced mechanical ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and diagnostic equipment
- Provide emergency airway management and serve as a code team member when needed
- Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment, treatments, and self-care techniques
- Accurately document all patient interactions and therapy outcomes according to hospital standards
