As a Registered Respiratory Therapist working 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on varied days (including every other weekend), you'll play a vital role in a dynamic healthcare environment. Here, youll engage with dedicated teams, encounter a diversity of clinical practices, and sharpen your leadership skillsideal for those looking to broaden their professional experience and enhance their resume through exposure to innovative workplace methods.

Role Highlights:

  • Utilize your expertise to deliver diagnostic evaluation, ventilatory support, and stabilization of neonates until transport arrives, providing critical, hands-on patient care.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to manage and educate patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
  • Be responsible for the application of technology in respiratory care, including medical gases, ventilatory support, airway management, and more.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RRT credentials.
  • Current licenses for ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and ABG.
  • Must live at least 100 miles from the assignment location.
  • NICU experience required (though facility is stabilization-focused rather than full NICU).
  • Responsive, compassionate approach with a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory care as prescribed by physicians.
  • Obtain and analyze physiological specimens, interpret data, and perform cardiopulmonary studies.
  • Apply and monitor mechanical ventilatory support and bronchopulmonary hygiene procedures.
  • Administer pharmacological agents related to respiratory care, support rehab efforts, and provide hemodynamic cardiovascular support.
