Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 3 x 12s (7p-7a)
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required
- Must live at least 50 miles from assignment location
- ACLS & BLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an RRT
- Demonstrated competency with pediatric, NICU, and adult ER & critical care
- Experience with assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and management of cardiopulmonary patients
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed respiratory care and diagnostic evaluation, including testing, interpretation, and analysis of physiological data
- Provide treatment and management for patients across all age groups with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities
- Administer and monitor mechanical ventilation, artificial airway care, and medical gases
- Apply bronchopulmonary hygiene techniques and pharmacologic agents related to respiratory care
- Educate and support patients and families regarding care and rehabilitation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
