This travel opportunity is perfect for experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists seeking to broaden their skill set. You'll collaborate with expert teams serving diverse patient populations, from pediatric to adult critical care, in high-acuity settings. Schedule:
- Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Candidates must reside 50+ miles from Washington, DC
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License required
- Active ACLS & BLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric, NICU, and adult emergency/critical care settings (required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory care based on physician orders
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including specimen collection, data interpretation, and cardiopulmonary testing
- Manage and educate patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies
- Administer and monitor medical gases, ventilatory support, and artificial airway care
- Perform bronchopulmonary hygiene and administer pharmacological agents
- Support cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and hemodynamic cardiovascular functions
