As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT), youll deliver vital, specialized care to patients dealing with a wide range of cardiopulmonary disorders. Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time travel assignment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, specialized care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, from premature infants to the elderly
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients using therapies such as oxygen administration, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Manage chronic conditions including COPD, asthma, and pneumonia
- Thoroughly document assessments, interventions, and outcomes according to best practices and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Solid clinical knowledge in respiratory care and cardiopulmonary disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Recent acute care or hospital experience preferred
