As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT), youll deliver vital, specialized care to patients dealing with a wide range of cardiopulmonary disorders. This assignment will enhance your clinical abilities and broaden your experience, as you collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to varied workplace approaches. Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time travel assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, specialized care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, from premature infants to the elderly
  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients using therapies such as oxygen administration, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Manage chronic conditions including COPD, asthma, and pneumonia
  • Thoroughly document assessments, interventions, and outcomes according to best practices and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Solid clinical knowledge in respiratory care and cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Recent acute care or hospital experience preferred
