Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment (specific scheduling will be discussed during the hiring process)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic and functional respiratory testing for patients
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor and document patient progress, communicating updates to the care team
  • Perform phlebotomies and start or remove intravenous lines as needed
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapies, equipment use, and self-care techniques
  • Support care in the NICU, utilizing specialized skills to assist the most vulnerable patients

Qualifications:

  • Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • NICU experience required
  • Proficiency in performing phlebotomies and IV starts/removals
  • Strong interpersonal and patient education skills
  • Ability to adapt to new protocols and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
