Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 am 7:30 pm day shifts
- Alternating weekends required
Qualifications:
- Active registration as a Respiratory Therapist
- Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- Permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory care to patients with critical and non-critical needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and assess respiratory protocols
- Operate ventilators and other specialized respiratory equipment
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and health
- Maintain accurate charts and patient records in adherence to facility protocols
