Provide specialized respiratory care for patients experiencing respiratory insufficiencies in a dynamic medical center setting. Assess patients accurately to determine the appropriate treatments and develop individualized care plans. Implement and monitor respiratory therapies and equipment to optimize patient outcomes. Communicate patient status effectively and participate in emergency resuscitation efforts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate respiratory function and administer appropriate treatments based on patient diagnosis.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to each patients respiratory needs.
• Monitor and operate respiratory care equipment, ensuring patient safety and treatment efficacy.
• Record patient responses and progress, communicating findings with healthcare team members.
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities and administer respiratory medications.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and available community resources.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency resuscitation codes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Proficient in advanced respiratory care techniques and treatment modalities.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred.
