Youll work closely with lead therapists in both adult and pediatric specialties, bolstering your clinical skills, learning new technologies, and collaborating with a cohesive department recognized for its exceptional teamwork and seasoned leadership. Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 18:30 07:00
  • Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
  • No on-call requirement
  • 75% of holidays expected
  • Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • NC Respiratory Therapy license and RRT required
  • BLS and ACLS required for adult roles; PALS and NRP required for NICU/Peds
  • Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
  • Previous Level 1 trauma or high-acuity experience preferred
  • EPIC EMR experience advantageous
  • Familiarity with respiratory equipment (Servo U, The Vest, Volara, etc.); pediatric specialists with HFJV/HFOV a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to diverse patient populations across ICU and medical/surgical units
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
  • Deliver care using advanced technologies and department-specific equipment
  • Adapt to varying workloads based on unit needs
  • Actively engage in departmental orientation and ongoing education
