Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver critical and basic respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients, following physician orders and established protocols.
• Maintain a high degree of independence in performing tasks, while providing oversight and direction to delegated staff as needed.
• Administer respiratory therapy in accordance with department standards and the most current procedural guidelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of patient documentation, including electronic medical records, flow sheets, and billing charges.
• Uphold a patient-centered approach while working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Demonstrated expertise in providing respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment independently and when supervising colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Previous experience in a similar hospital setting is highly valued.
