Schedule/Hours
- 13-week assignment
- 12-hour night shifts: 6:30pm 6:30am
- No on-call
In this position, you will:
- Deliver advanced respiratory care in a long-term acute care environment, contributing to positive patient outcomes.
- Utilize critical care techniques for patients with complex respiratory needs.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse healthcare team, gaining exposure to different disciplines and leadership styles.
- Document and communicate treatment plans, ensuring continuity of care.
- Respond to emergencies with poise and clinical expertise.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in long-term or critical care.
- Active Florida RT licensure required or must be in hand prior to start.
- RRT preferred; CRT with appropriate experience considered.
- Experience in long-term acute care and critical care environments is essential.
