As a Registered Respiratory Therapist in this setting, youll join a diverse respiratory care team in a 266-bed, fully accredited medical center renowned for its commitment to compassionate health care. Gain valuable clinical expertise in critical care and emergency settings and collaborate with expert colleagues in a unit equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Puritan Bennet 980 ventilators and advanced bedside analyzers. With responsibilities extending across all inpatient units, youll develop hands-on proficiency with advanced respiratory procedures and contribute to multidisciplinary rounds, enhancing both your clinical skills and your professional resume.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00PM 7:00AM)
  • Rotating weekends required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
  • Previous experience in critical care and emergency environments
  • Active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
  • Flexibility to float between units
  • Strong clinical skills including ventilator and Bipap management, intubation, arterial line insertion, and bronchoscopy assistance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care across various inpatient settings, including ICUs
  • Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounding and care planning
  • Document all care using Meditech
  • Support patient-centered outcomes using AIDET communication practices
